Best habits forHealthy and Beautiful Skin

We all know that skin care can be pricey and time consuming but even if you don’t have the time for excessive skin care, you can follow these common sense tips to make the most of the time that you ARE able to spend.

#1. Stay out of the sun!

Protecting yourself from the suns rays can do a lot to help your skin stay healthy. The sun can break down your skin, causing all sorts of changes and problems that can lead to worse problems later. Wearing the appropriate sunscreen, spending time in the sun in smaller time increments, and wearing light clothing to protect you from it are all ways to keep your skin safer, healthy, and more beautiful!

#2. Put out that cigarette.

Yes, we all know that smoking is a nasty habit. But did you also know that smoking is bad for your skin too? Smoking can cause your skin layer blood vessels to shrink, which can deplete your skin of the oxygen and nutrients that it desperately needs to stay healthy. So stop lighting up, and start having skin that is noticeably prettier!

#3. Wash gently.

When you shower or bathe, remember to take it easy on your skin. Use soaps that will not strip the oil from your skin, avoid adding chemicals that could be harsh, pat yourself dry when you are done, and be careful when removing your eye makeup! Often, the skin around the eyes is the first to wrinkle, so be careful, and you will see more youthful skin for longer.

#4.  Moisturize, moisturize, MOISTURIZE!

Want to know how busy women keep their skin beautiful and healthy? They use all kinds of lotions and other moisturizing products! And don’t buy the cheap stuff either! Buy good lotion, use it every day on your entire body, and do it faithfully, day in and day out. If your skin is VERY dry, use some baby oil on it.
